The McBurney Disability Resource Center is the office for students with disabilities and student accommodations on the UW-Madison Campus. The McBurney Center is a team-focused, collaborative environment, and seeks to recruit and retain a diverse workforce.
Professional Staff Positions
The McBurney Center hires professionals for a variety of positions (access consultants, adaptive/assistive technology, sign language interpreters, and captioners) to work collaboratively with students with disabilities and faculty/staff across campus to develop accommodation plans, implement accommodations and technology, and promote access.

Student Hourly Positions
The McBurney Center hires students for hourly positions working at the front desk and with McBurney Center provided accommodations. Applicants must be enrolled UW-Madison undergraduate or graduate students to be eligible for these jobs. Because of the extensive training required for most positions, we prefer applicants who are able to make a 2 year commitment to the job.
