Getting to the McBurney Center

Arriving by Madison Metro City Bus or Campus Bus
- The free campus bus 80 travels north on Lake St. and stops nearby at the southeast corner of Johnson St. and Lake St.
- A variety Madison Metro buses stop nearby to the McBurney Center
- There is a Madison Metro Paratransit stop on the west side of Lake Street (heading south from University Avenue to Johnson Street) immediately adjacent to the front doors of 702 W. Johnson Street.
Arriving by Car
There is parking in private, campus, and city ramps, as well as nearby on-street metered parking. Visitors are responsible for parking fees.
- University Square Ramp – Below the McBurney Center – Enter on Lake Street – Self service kiosk or pay on exit
- Standard, disabled and van-accessible stalls
- Park in stalls located in the southeast corner of the ramp to reach the McBurney Center and Admissions. Internal elevator access to 702 W. Johnson is available during business hours. Access to this lot is limited after hours (midnight to 6 a.m.).
- UW Lot 46 Ramp – Gated – Self service kiosk or pay on exit
- Accessible parking and van accessible stalls located on the lower and main level using the Frances Street entrance (valid DOT disabled permit required)
