The McBurney Center is located at 702 West Johnson Street, near the northwest corner of West Johnson and Lake Streets across from Lot 46, Witte Hall, and Gordon Commons. We are on the second floor in Suite 2104. Visitors can access the McBurney Center via an elevator or staircase in the entrance vestibule, or a second interior elevator that also serves the University Square Building’s parking lot (lot entrance is on Lake Street between University and Johnson).

Arriving by Madison Metro City Bus or Campus Bus

• The free campus bus 80 travels north on Lake and stops nearby at the southeast corner of Johnson St. and Lake St.

• There is a Madison Metro Para-transit stop on the west side of Lake Street (heading south from University Avenue to Johnson Street) immediately adjacent to the front doors of 702 W. Johnson Street.

Arriving by Intercity Bus

• Intercity Buses – The intercity bus stop is across East Johnson St. from the McBurney Center on the 200 block of Lake St.

Arriving by Car

There is parking in private, campus, and city ramps, as well as nearby on-street metered parking. Visitors are responsible for parking fees.

1. University Square Ramp – Below the McBurney Center – Enter on Lake Street – Self service kiosk or pay on exit
   • Standard, disabled and van-accessible stalls
   • Park in stalls located in the southeast corner of the ramp to reach the McBurney Center and Admissions. Internal elevator access to 702 W. Johnson is available during business hours. Access to this lot is limited after hours (midnight to 6 a.m.).
2. UW Lot 46 Ramp – Gated – Self service kiosk or pay on exit
   • Accessible parking and van accessible stalls located on the lower and main level using the Frances Street entrance (valid DOT disabled permit required)

3. City of Madison State Street Campus Garage (Lake Street Ramp) Attendant or self service kiosk (located about two blocks northeast, and due to construction, the only entrance is at 430 N Frances St from westbound University Ave.):
