- McBurney Center Access Consultants and Staff will be working remotely 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Location
The McBurney Center is located at 702 West Johnson Street, near the northwest corner of West Johnson and Lake Streets across from Lot 46, Witte Hall, and Gordon Commons. We are on the second floor in Suite 2104. Visitors can access McBurney via an elevator or staircase in the entrance vestibule, or a second interior elevator that also serves the University Square Building’s parking lot (lot entrance is on Lake Street between University and Johnson).
Arriving by Madison Metro City Bus or Campus Bus
- The free campus bus 80 travels north on Lake and stops nearby at the southeast corner of Johnson St. and Lake St.
- Eastbound buses 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 27, 28, 37, 38, 47, 56, 57, 58, 70, 71, and 72 stop across the street on West Johnson Street in the southeast corner of Lake and West Johnson Street by Witte Hall. - Westbound riders of routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 27, 28, 29, 37, 38,, 56, 57, 58, 70, 71, and 72 can exit near the corner of Lake Street and University Avenue, which is one block north of McBurney. - There is a Madison Metro Para-transit stop on the west side of Lake Street (heading south from University Avenue to Johnson Street) immediately adjacent to the front doors of 702 W. Johnson Street.
Arriving by Car
There is parking in private, campus, and city ramps, as well as nearby on-street metered parking. Visitors are responsible for parking fees.
- University Square Ramp – Self service kiosk (enter on Lake Street):

- Standard, disabled and van-accessible stalls
- Park in stalls located in the southeast corner of the ramp to reach the McBurney Center and Admissions. Internal elevator access to 702 W. Johnson is available during business hours. Access to this lot is limited after hours (midnight to 6 a.m.).
- UW Lot 46 Ramp – Meters
- Metered standard and disabled stalls in the lower level of ramp
- Van accessible stalls are located at the Frances Street entrance (valid DOT disabled permit required)
