DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

  • Adaptive Technology Access
Adaptive computer technology exists in the two main libraries and several of the smaller, specialized facilities. The two primary general-access computer labs, located in Memorial Library and at the Division of Information Technology (DoIT), have extensive adaptive equipment. Many of the other general-access computer labs have basic access adaptations. For a list of adaptive equipment available in the main general-access computer labs, go to www.doit.wisc.edu/computerlabs/adapttech.asp.

Students requiring a higher level of access than currently exists at any given location should make specific, written requests directly to the lab or library's director. Upon request, McBurney staff can assist in advocating for the adaptive computer needs of students.
