Campus Events and Information
Why should you consider a leadership position with Accessibility
Advocates (AA), a registered student organization (RSO)?
Eric Nooker, the current president of AA, cites numerous benefits he's obtained through his involvement:
Opportunities to meet students from across campus through partnerships with ASM and other RSOs
Opportunities to work with campus administrators on a more personal level
Leadership experience that Eric cites as a significant factor in being awarded the Bascom Hill
Society Scholarship
Opportunities to learn about himself and develop as an individual
Last year, AA partnered with ASM to establish funding for accommodations for RSOs. This semester, AA hopes to bring
comedian Keith Wann to campus on December 6 (hold the date
and check out Keith comedy clips on his web site).
Eric encourages all students to become involved in AA. Freshmen and sophomores are especially encouraged to
run for leadership positions starting this spring. New leaders will help determine the future direction of the
organization and future projects and priorities. Join now to meet new people, have fun, and make
a difference on campus! Complete the
Accessibility Advocates Interest Form or or email AA to find
our more.
